#LoveATreeIn23

Street Trees for Living wants to boost street tree planting to create greener streets for communities that will improve health and wellbeing, support biodiversity and cool the environment. This is why we’re inviting residents, businesses, schools and community organisations to get involved in our #LoveATreeIn23 campaign.

You can get involved with #LoveATreeIn23 by:

 Let’s love street trees!

A bit more about the campaign:

The hashtag is a reference to “Plant a Tree in ‘73”, a national campaign of tree planting that saw over 90,000 trees donated to schools and thousands more planted across the country. 50 years later we can see the incredible effects of this initiative across the country.

Seeing thriving trees like this reminds us the importance of acting now to ensure a sustainable future.

2023 is looking to be the biggest year yet for Street Trees for Living (STfL). We have more projects than ever, our staff team is growing, we’re expanding across London, and most importantly, we’re aiming to plant the most trees we’ve ever planted. #LoveATreeIn23 is a celebration of this and a way to keep up with all the work happening this year.

Although we are planting trees, we changed the phrase to “Love a Tree” because it’s not just about planting trees, it’s about ensuring they survive too. A huge focus for us at Street Trees for Living.
