Thirteen out of Lewisham's 18 wards have a tree canopy of under 20%, which is below the London average of 21%. STfL is working towards achieving a 30% tree canopy cover across Lewisham, in line with the Mayor of London's target, through our Lewisham Blossoms project and our annual street tree planting work with residents. Area Representatives play a key role in increasing street tree numbers.  We currently have vacancies across the borough.
